Overview
Cadence is a recurring task tracker. This policy explains what data is stored locally on your device, what optional cloud data is processed, and how that information is used.
Data stored locally
By default, Cadence stores your data on your device. This can include:
- Tasks and task settings
- Completion history and reminder-learning data
- App preferences such as theme, motion, and sensory settings
- Workout setup and session logs if you use workout features
This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly enable Cadence Cloud.
Optional Cadence Cloud data
If you subscribe to Cadence Cloud and sign in, the following data may be synced:
- Account information from Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
- Your synced task, history, and preference data
- Accountability partner summaries and reactions if you use that feature
Cloud data is encrypted in transit, stored on Supabase infrastructure, and never sold.
What Cadence does not collect
- Location data
- Contacts
- Photos or media
- Advertising identifiers
- Behavioral data for sale to advertisers or brokers
Third-party services
- Supabase for optional cloud database and authentication
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
- Google Analytics for website traffic measurement
- Apple and Google for sign-in, billing, and app distribution
Website analytics
The Cadence marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic and page usage. This helps us understand which pages are being viewed and how people reach the site. This is separate from the core app's offline behavior and does not change the app's offline-first design.
Data retention
- Local data stays on your device until you remove it
- Cloud data stays while your Cadence Cloud account is active
- After account deletion, cloud data is deleted within 30 days unless law requires longer retention
Your rights
You can request access, export, deletion, or choose to use Cadence fully offline without Cadence Cloud.
